Halloween 2009

We had a doozy of a Halloween this year. First we went to the Scout Halloween party, then the next night we went to a party at our house (http://pbrambly.blogspot.com/2009/11/so-i-have-always-always-always-wanted.html), then Saturday we did Trunk or Treat, and then finally old school trick or treating. We took a vote and other then the boys wanting to have a Halloween party next year we voted skip Treats on the Square, skip Trunk or Treat, old school trick or treating is the way to go. Well that and a nice long day after Halloween walk in which you find blown away Halloween decorations, dropped candy and parts of costumes along the way. Oh and 23 cats, you know people that didn't want to go trick or treating so were turned into cats.
Josey at the Scout Halloween party (minus his rainbow clown hair)
Ben at the Scout Party

The Party at our house, Josey dressed as the poor lil boy whose mama scheduled a party on a football game night, Ben wore the dragon costume, Jake is Woody from Toy Story

For trick or treat Josey was a vampire and Ben was the dragon again
At one house we stopped at someone in a mask just walked down their drive
and stood there turning their head all this way and that, no candy, nothing, very creepy, Ben
went home after that and Jake decided to go out, he wore the dragon and boy he got "Trick or Treat" down fast after he figured out that there was candy involved

Ben's Field Day - May 28, 2009

Jacob was not cooperating
(I had to walk home, put him to sleep, put him back in the stroller, and walk back)
so I missed the 5 yard dash and "lame" jump roping but here's the rest...
Talking strategy with his teacher and friends

The "super really big jump" ... See that footprint way back behind him?
That's how far he actually jumped. He ran to the start, stopped, and jumped
but hey it was his favorite thing of the whole day

Darlin' lil Jacob - he threw himself down on the field, I think
if he would've stayed there a couple minutes he would've fallen asleep

Benny-in-a-sack

Jacob in his one moment of good behavior for the day

He loved it when they fell down (notice the purposely mismatched socks)
